Chopped straw:

Several years ago Verschoor opened a new facility in East-Germany for the chopping of straw and pressing the product into bales of 300 to 350 kilograms. The bales are wrapped in plastic, which means that it is also possible to store them outside.

The product can be delivered with various straw lengths. Bales with a length between 0 and 3 cm especially suitable for use as a litter. It is also possible to deliver the bales with a length between the 3 and 6 centimeter, which is especially usable for feeding.
