The Verschoor cycle concept:

The Verschoor concept is unique as we take care of the supply of the straw, chicken manure and horse manure ourselves. The straw and chicken manure are namely delivered by our company VHL and the horse manure by VeWa. By this way our company can guarantee the use of qualitatively good ingredients in the compost, which is the key requirement for producing good substrates.

Also we trade in the residual of the mushroom cultivation, namely the spent mushroom substrate. We supply this to the same farmers who sold their straw to us which we baled and used in the mushroom. This means that they do not have to worry about the availability of organic fertilizers anymore.

Furthermore we supply straw to stables, which use it to cover the ground. At these same stables we then collect the horse manure. This means we can make sure that the horse manure fulfills all our quality requirements.

The trade of chicken manure also is included in our activities and because of our direct contacts with the suppliers we can also guarantee that this ingredient is of sufficient quality.

There have to be pointed out that also the transport of both the ingredients and the completed mushroom compost is in our own hands. This means also the transport will also meet the quality and health requirements.

For the making of ecological compost the cycle concept is of great importance. By supplying ecological fertilizers to farmers, they can also produce ecological products and straw. This ecological straw is delivered to stables and poultry farms, which also supply their horse and chicken manure to us, which we are using during the composting process.

As we are present in the whole supply chain we can control the quality from the beginning to the end and can also guarantee that the ecological products meet all requirements.
